The intake interview takes place between the prospective elite sport student and the (deputy) elite sport coordinator, preferably before the elite sport student registers for or starts the study programme.
The intake interview and this checklist have two purposes:
- It advises you on the feasibility of your branch of sport in combination with your chosen study programme.
- It names what you can expect from the Fontys elite athletes scheme, and also what is expected of you in the process.
The feasibility of combining a sport with a study programme depends on three factors: sport, the study programme and the person. In the checklist below you will be asked a number of questions about all three factors.
Based on the completed answers, the Fontys elite sport coordinator will contact you to schedule an intake interview.
